Year 7 Rowers Out on the Water

Our latest group of Year 7 Rowers took to the water for the first time at Rudyard lake.

 The water was very choppy in the wind and the rowers were asked to stand up in the boat! They then had to complete rowing drills to help them row in time as a team, they all had their game faces on and took to it like ducks to water.  

We look forward to seeing their progress over the next few weeks as they get ready for a competition in June!
