Year 11 Awards Evening

It was a lovely evening at TMA yesterday as we welcomed back our 2024 leavers and their parents to reflect on their time at The Academy. The evening was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the Class of ‘24 exam successes with certificates, awards and praise from staff. There were special recognition presentations for each subject followed by special awards including Best GCSE Progress won by Scarlett D-S and The Sir John Deane’s Award for Best GCSE Results won by Lester G.  Alex W was awarded Sportsperson of the Year and our School Captain’s were also thanked for all their hard work. 

Mr Galvin, Headteacher said  “A huge well done to all of our prize winners and especially to Jasmine A who was awarded the Headteacher’s Prize which is sponsored by Sir John Brunner Foundation.  Huge well done, Jasmine.  It was really tough picking a winner ”
