GCSE SCIENCE LIVE!

Last week 108 Year 10 Students visited The Opera House Manchester to experience SCIENCE LIVE!

A chance to see and hear some of Britain's Top Scientists generate greater enthusiasm for Science. 

Five Top Scientists, Dr Anna Ploszajski, Dr Kate Lancaster, Prof Robert Winston, Dr Hannah Critchlow and Dr Tim Gabriel all share amazing insight to all the different aspects of Science. The students learnt about Material Science, Nuclear Fusion, Neuroscience, Human Fertility and Chemical Science through talks and live on stage experiments. 

Science Examiner Stewart Chenery spoke to the students about preparing for their GCSE exams and gave advice on revision, what to expect and how to manage time in the run up to the Exams. 

Student where encouraged to ask questions and to think out of the box about Science. 

This Trip was to inspire students to do so much more than they think they can.
