Macclesfield Academy Stays Open!

Despite the weather conditions of this frosty first week back, The Macclesfield Academy was one of the few schools in the area that managed to stay open from Tuesday onwards!

Making the site accessible and safe was no easy feat and took teamwork at all levels to make it happen.

Mr Galvin, Headteacher said: "We very much appreciate all the support and constructive feedback we have received during the first week back.   It’s been very challenging but the team, students and staff, have been magnificent. We haven't taken the easier way this week but I'm very proud of what we've done."

Hopefully the weather conditions will become milder next week and the school can focus on teaching and learning for all.
