Y10 Students Attend Maths presentation by Simon Singh

25 Year 10 pupils from TMA joined students from over 20 other schools at Bolton School today to attend a presentation by Mathematician, Simon Singh.   The presentation took the audience on a whistle stop tour through two decades of his best selling books, from 'Fermats Last Theorem' to 'The Simpsons and their Mathematical Secrets'.  There were lots of interesting questions, and the students were able to learn about the pros and cons of studying maths or science at university.
