TMA Students take a journey into space
Back
It's Monday morning and some of our students have already been to space and back! The @WonderDome mobile planetarium has arrived at TMA and students have been taking a tour of the galaxy to explore whether life can actually exist on other planets. Later, our GCSE students will also be looking at the life cycle of a star. The planetarium will be at TMA for two days and some of our feeder primaries will also be taking the opportunity to explore the solar system.
Mrs Ainsworth, Science teacher who organised the visit said: " through the planetarium, students can get a true sense of the scale of our universe".
Student, Oscar said: "It was amazing to see all the stars and planets up close. It was like I was really in space!"
